Pro-IV is comprised of an experienced team of medical, biotechnical and business professionals:

Michal Devir, MD (Founder and Board chairperson) brings a unique combination of entrepreneurship, venture capital experience, and academic and clinical training and experience to the company. Dr. Devir is a co-founder of several life science companies. She served as a Venture Partner and Entrepreneur In Residence (EIR) at Pitango Venture Capital, Israel's largest venture capital fund. Previously, she was the CEO of Medical Electronic Systems Ltd, a leading international company that develops, markets and sells electro- optical devices in the field of male infertility. Michal was Clinical Trial Manager in the Innovative R&D Division of Teva, a global pharmaceutical company and the Clinical Development Director at Medinol, an Israel-based advanced stenting solution company. Dr Devir holds a B.Sc. and MD degree from the Technion, Israel Institute of Technology.

Professor Jacob Nusbacher, MD(Founder and CEO) is an internationally-recognized immunohematologist who has had a long academic and administrative career in the field of transfusion medicine. He has been Professor of Medicine at the University of Rochester, Pittsburgh and Toronto, has published more than 100 scientific papers, consulted for major US biotech companies such as DuPont and Bayer, and has served as a member of the FDA Blood Program Advisory Committee and as National Director of the Canadian Red Cross Blood Programme. He has been Medical Director of a number of Israeli pharmaceutical and medical device companies.

Pierre Sharvit, DVM, (Founder and COO) is a practicing veterinarian who received his DVM in 1991 from the School of Veterinary Medicine, Liege University, Belgium. After his return to Israel, he completed a post-doctoral program in the Hormone Research Department at the Weizmann Institute of Science in Rehovot. Additionally, he was a lecturer in general physiology and animal reproduction at the Ruppin Engineering School. Pierre is the original developer of the basic Pro-IV system concept.

Gershon Goldenberg, BSc. (Founder and CTO) has a degree in Electronic Engineering from Tel Aviv University and graduated from the School of Business Administration at Haifa University. Gershon co-founded MTRE - Medical Thermo Regulation Equipment Ltd (1998) where he held the position of CTO and General Manager (1998-1999). In addition, he served as the project manager of the engineering group at Aran R&D (1992-1998) and manager of the development department at Microvue (1988-1992). For the last four years he has served as the co-founder and managing partner of Beating Heart Ltd., a company that provides R&D and engineering services to entrepreneurial projects in the field of medical devices.

Steve Rhodes (Director) Steve began his career with the Chicago branch of Bank Leumi in 1979. He advanced through a number of financial marketing and lending positions including director of marketing. At Bank Leumi in Israel, Steve rose to the position of deputy manager of the Bank's International Division. In 1988, Steve joined SRD Medical as the company's CFO. He left the company in 1993, forming Trendlines International with Todd Dollinger. After serving on the board of the Misgav incubator for many years, Steve became the CEO in 2005, Steve shares the positions of Chairman and CEO of The Trendlines Group with Todd and additionally serves as chairman of the Mofet Innovation Accelerator. Steve earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and a bachelor's degree from Harvard University. He is a certified public accountant in the state of Illinois.

D. Todd Dollinger (Director)Todd launched Trendlines, Inc., a U.S.-based company providing sales, marketing, consulting, and product development services for the U.S. market in 1978. He served as its president until 1990 when he and his family moved to Israel, where he joined the marketing department of medical device company SRD Medical. He later became that company's CEO.  Leaving SRD in late 1993, Todd formed Trendlines International with Steve Rhodes. Trendlines International (now Signal Business Development) has grown to become Israel's leading business development firm serving seed- and early-stage companies. As well, Signal works with some of Israel’s largest companies. Today, Todd is the Chairman and CEO of The Trendlines Group, positions that he shares with Steve Rhodes and, additionally, serves as chairman of the Misgav Venture Accelerator. Trendlines owns the Misgav (www.misgav-venture.com) and Mofet (www.mofet.org) Israeli government licensed business incubators and Signal Business Development. Todd majored in psychology at the University of Missouri. He serves as a director and chairman of the board of a number of companies.
