Overview
IMMAGES™ , Intravenous Monitoring, Management and Safety, is an intravenous drug and blood transfusion system that enhances three critical infusion functions:
- Delivering a high-degree of error- prevention in the intravenous infusion of drugs and blood transfusion
- Improving the bedside management of patients receiving intravenous drug therapy or blood transfusion
- Improving the accuracy and management of patient data and information within an electronic hospital environment

The Valve: Plastic, disposable, sterile, integral with the infusion bag "spike,” is part of, or can be connected to standard i.v. infusion set, closes mechanically by spiking the bag and can only be opened by the controller, can be integrated into pump technologies on top. |
Flow Monitor: Reusable, electro optics, advanced and accurate drop counter technology, no pumps required, easy to connect to the drip chamber

- The central communications and operations point in the IMMAGES™ system
- A portable, computerized tool for the management of many patients
- Simple to use touch screen instructions for caregiver
- Built-in bar code scanner -Scans the medication bag and the patient's wrist band and verifies that the patient, the medication, and the dose and timing of the medication are correct, and what the physician prescribed
- Opens the valve via wireless Bluetooth technology to controller when all the critical data have been verified
- Identifies valve via RFID "handshake"
- Retrieves and stores doctor's orders and patient information in Real Time Via built in WiFi capabilities on the host server
- Communicates with other information systems in the hospital via Wi-Fi communication technology
- Contains clear instructions for all infusion protocols and requires caregiver compliance
- Verifies and records caregiver I.D.
- Records all operations that have been performed by the caregiver
